Christmas & New Year in Bourton on the Water
Bourton on the Water is a magical location for a UK festive break - twinkling lights along the river, wood smoke in the air and the famous Christmas tree in the middle of the river!
It's a great base for visiting Christmas markets across the Cotswolds and shopping in the independent shops in nearby towns like Stow on the Wold. Plus, when you stay with us over the festive periods we'll warm you up at check in with mince pies and mulled wine!

We are open throughout the festive period, including Christmas week and New Year. Whether you are looking for somewhere to stay while visiting family nearby, r you want to escape away from all the madness in your own little bubble - we would love to host you at The Lansdowne.
Guests staying over Christmas Day itself will also receive a hamper of local goodies; we are not able to provide Christmas dining outside of breakfast and recommended booking somewhere locally to eat as early as possible (please contact us if you'd like help with recommendations).
