We would love to host your wedding party here in Bourton on the Water. As well as sumptuous rooms for an all-important good night's sleep, our attentive staff will be on hand to help with whatever you need - whether that's finding an extra iron or calling an emergency taxi! Plus, everybody gets breakfast ready to set them up for the most important day of your lives.
Hire the Boutique Quarters
(Sleeps 8)
A great option for your immediate wedding party of close family and bridesmaids or groomsmen. The Boutique Quarters is a self-contained house across the road from The Lansdowne with four ensuite bedrooms and a large social lounge and fully-equipped kitchen for night-before pampering.
Hire the Guest House
(Sleeps 30+8)
With 15 bedrooms, The Lansdowne can comfortably fit friends and family together as your official wedding hotel, allowing for a sociable breakfast all together the following morning. Add on rooms in the Boutique Quarters if you need extra bed space.
Hire the Village
(Sleeps up to 72!)
Together with our sister brand Cotswold Cottage Gems, we can host your whole wedding party in accommodation all within a minutes' walk of each in Lansdowne Road. Across the guest house, Boutique Quarters and five holiday cottages you can all be close together and really make a weekend of it. (We can also sleep a further 8 guests in a different part of Bourton on the Water).
My husband and I recently got married in the Cotswolds and used The Lansdowne Guesthouse and their additional cottages to accommodate both us and our 52 guests for the wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! All of our guests could not speak more highly of the accommodations, expressing that they were clean, comfortable, and commented how incredible the breakfast was!
Gemma and her team are quite simply amazing and went out of their way to make sure our guests and us had the most perfect stay. The guesthouse and cottages were perfectly clean, had all the amenities you need and each have lovely little touches that make your stay that even more special.
Gemma and her team have great customer service skills and are so friendly and helpful. We could never express enough how thankful we are to them for making our wedding so much more special. They all went out of their way (and out of their job roles!) to do what they could to help make our day run smoothly and perfectly.
If you are thinking of staying in the Cotswolds, or want to accommodate multiple guests for a wedding or any event, we couldn't recommend this guesthouse and the cottages enough. And that's the opinion of all 54 of us who stayed for two nights!

The hotel has both a homely and luxurious feel. My wife and I stayed in the Garden Suite of their Boutique Quarters which is a spacious flat with a large kitchen, living room and access to the garden. Corrinne was incredibly professional and excellent at accommodating all our requests , both us and our guests loved her!
Our wedding was only few weeks ago and we’re already planning to return to stay for our anniversary. If you’re getting married near Bourton-on-the Water, this is the best place to stay in!
