As our busy Summer period draws to a close, we're looking forward to another magical Winter in Bourton on the Water! FYI...

We've put together a list of Winter activities from around the Cotswolds that we can recommend!



Sudeley Castle Spectacle of Light!

Running 25th November - 30th December

Celebrating it's 7th year, one of the most beautiful winter events in the Cotswolds- a definite must visit. Explore the new illuminated trail set in the castle grounds and enjoy the wonderful music as you discover each new secret of this romantic and magical environment.

Wreath making workshops at Daylesford

Running 16th November - 30th December

A creative experience like no other- using blooms and natural materials from their cutting garden, let the expert florists from Daylesford organic guide you in making the most impressive Christmas wreaths for your front door!

Late night shopping in Broadway

25th November and 2nd December 2022 from 5.30 to 8.30pm

Spend the evening browsing the wonderful boutique shops in Broadway, trying the delicious local foods and taking in the magical festive atmosphere.




The kingdom of the snow queen at blenheim palace

18th November - 2nd January

A brand new after-dark illuminated trail and the Palace interior transformed into The kingdom of The Snow Queen. Two great experiences in one unique setting.

Ice skating in Cheltenham

18th November - 2nd January

Start your winter stay with a magically romantic date in Cheltenham. The ice skating rink is set in the Imperial gardens, just a short walk from the Christmas market and town centre.


Cirencester's Christmas light switch on

30th November

A heartwarming event with carol singing, hot chocolate and locally made crafts.
