Our second stay at The Lansdowne Guest House

Our second stay at The Lansdowne Guest House, which speaks volumes. Ideally situated for exploring Bourton-on-the-Water and the Cotswolds, The Lansdowne has on site parking, very comfortable rooms and friendly staff who are very helpful. Breakfasts are superb, with something to suit all tastes.

The Landsdowne

The room is small but very clean and comfortable, the location is perfect it is just a 2 minute walk from the centre. Most of all though the host is amazing she loves serving customers with her natural smile and ensuring everyone is happy. The breakfast is perfect too!

Simply exceptional

I booked a mini 2 night honeymoon break for our Daughter & Son-in-law. Corinne and her team, made their arrival and stay, so special and words cannot express our gratitude.
From booking to checking out, the experience was exceptional. Our daughter telephoned us, to tell us all about their beautifully prepared bridal room, sprinkled with rose petals and complementary confectionery. The wonderful staff who welcomed and congratulated them when they encountered them and Corinne, all went above and beyond, to make their stay and wonderful experience, truly unforgettable.

Bourton on the Water B&B

Excellent B&B in the heart of Bourton on the Water. Well appointed room with comfy beds, mini fridge and plenty of storage. Lots of hot water, useful drawers under the sink. The host Corinne was friendly and extremely helpful. Lovely variety for breakfast, freshly prepared and served in pretty breakfast rooms. Short walk into town.

Great place to stay in Bourton-on-the-water!

Excellent stay overall. Really enjoyed the breakfast on both mornings, lots of choice, good quality food and very attentive staff. Room was very spacious and comfortable with all amenities. Excellent night sleep on both nights. Plenty of on-site parking. Will definitely return!

Great, quality stay in Bourton on the Water

From a lovely warm welcome from the owner, Gemma, right up until we left we had a faultless stay at The Lansdowne. We stayed from 14th - 17th July 2023 in a Deluxe Double Room which was located on the first floor. The room was spotless, spacious and well appointed with everything you could wish for - including a complimentary mini bar on the first night (wine, soft drinks, chocolate and crisps from Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat farm - such a lovely touch). The bathroom was lovely too - modern, clean and with quality, complimentary toiletries too. The choice at breakfast is extensive and the quality is second to none. This has been the first time, in all my years of travelling, that I booked to go back to the same place on the day before I was even due to check out. I have no hesitation in recommending The Lansdowne, it really is superb and just outside the centre of beautiful Bourton on the Water.
